After the committee meeting on 8.9.09 failed to clinch a deal, representative union is understood to have submitted a proposal on 9.9.09 with 30% fitment benefit, subject to review of the financial position of the company after five years with effect from 1.1.2007. This may be due to pressure from the workers all-round. Management is yet to react to the new proposal.
